Idea 77: Buying Abandoned Domain Traffic
We have previously mentioned that you can buy expired/abandoned domains (Idea 15: Abandoned/Expired Domains) in order to get some free traffic.
Well, if you don't want to do this find and register these domains yourself, there are companies which have already registered lots of these domains, and then redirect traffic from to your site. As these companies have many domains, they may be able to send a lot of traffic in a relatively short space of time.
Of course, do remember that the traffic they send may be relatively untargeted. Additionally, in some cases, these companies show multiple sites to each visitor in multiple pop-ups, which may also make the traffic convert less well. In short, be sure to do your research due diligence, and start out in a small way (testing your results), before spending too much money.
