There are many sites on the web that allow you to place free classified ads.
I think it would probably be fair to say that many people who post free classifieds end-up getting little or nothing back, except a ton of junk mail in their inbox.
However, there are some people who say that they have achieved good results by developing a system for their classified advertising campaigns.
I'd recommend that you use a tracking link (Click/Counter Tracker , AdTrackZ or DynaTracker) for these types of ads, that way you'll get an idea if each ad was successful, how many people clicked, and whether it's worth doing again.
