Chapter 11: Getting Other Webmasters To Promote Your Site
Idea 81: Give Away Graphics For A Link
If you're good at creating computer graphics (or perhaps good at drawing and have a scanner) you could create graphics that other web sites can use in return for a link to your site.
If your site is not about graphics, you could create Clip-Art type graphics on your site's theme (for example, if your site is about Astrology, you could give away Clip-Arts that you create of the various Zodiac signs).
(Of course, you can't give away graphics that you are not the copyright-holder of, unless you have permission from the copyright-holder).
If you do this, be sure to explain clearly to visitors, which graphics they can use, what you want back, and any Terms and Conditions that you might apply.
