On most merchants' web sites, after a person buys the product, they are shown some kind of "Thank-you" page. This page usually thanks for them for a purchase, and has a link (the "exit link") for them to click when they have read the message.
Have you thought about where your exit link goes?
A good idea might be for it to lead to a related product on your site (or on one of your other sites if you have more than one).
If you only have one product or service on your web site and the customer has just bought it: consider trading thank-you traffic with a reputable merchant in a related area: You send them your thank-you traffic - and in return - they send you theirs.
