Chapter 8: Mostly For Merchants

Idea 57: Starting An Affiliate Program

An affiliate program is a program where you pay other sites a commission for helping promoting your business.

Most affiliate programs are organized so that your affiliates are paid a commission on sales, but it's also possible to set up your affiliate program to pay per lead (example: ezine sign-up), or simply for each person who clicks-thru to your web site.
